"We arrived late due to our trains and our room was over looking the main road so very noisy. I asked to move rooms which they did and this room opened onto the car park with only one small window. As we were staying 3 nights the hotel very kindly moved us to a larger room in the main building the next day which was much more comfortable. Staff were very helpful and breakfast was good "

"This hotel was roughly 15 minutes or less walking distance from all the main attractions in York. Great to walk out and see the castle right in front. The rooms were clean and decent size for the double bed room, and had pleasant staff. The included breakfast had a nice assortment of hot and cold food options. "Excellent location. Only issue was lack of food available on the second evening due to staff shortages. ( not really what you want to hear when you are hungry). The bathroom was lovely, however it was a little high to climb into the shower, bath and someone who was suffering with a bad a leg found it hard going, also getting out of the bath/shower there was no hand rail to support.
