"Very well located and handy to town and railway. The hotel is good, newish with airy rooms, comfortable beds, and average breakfast. Cleanliness can be better- I found fake lashes in my shower that scared the hell out of me as I thought it was a spider."

"Comfortable and handy hotel for the university campus. Had to ask for the amenity drinks voucher. Relaxed style waiting staff in the restaurant. Friendly at reception. My room smelt somewhat of drains initially but once ran some water in the shower it quickly subsided. Maintenance had left a light fitting cardboard box in the room but not an issue. "

"My usual hotel appeared to have been fully booked so I decided to give the IJsselhotel, sorry the Pillows Luxury Boutique Hotel Aan De IJssel a try. The location is amazing, right across from the town on the river. To get to the other side there is a small ferry throughout the day. My room was amazing. "I tried to alter my booking dates through Expedia's website, was informed by their Bot that it'd all been taken care of. Didn't receive the promised confirmation email so called the hotel to check and it hadn't happened at all. Thank you so much to the guy at the hotel for re-arranging everything so perfectly, otherwise we'd have turned up without a reservation. Next time we'll book with the hotel directly.
