"Our stay at Manchester marriott hotel picadilly was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. From a simple phone call leading to being given early check in for free, to the complementary breakfast and late checkout. All staff were happy, friendly and amazingly helpful. "Excellent location for visiting Manchester centre . Few minute s walk from everywhere you’d like to go or a pleasant tram ride away. The room was huge but a bit Spartan. Only one chair, no proper desk or table. No socket for shaver in bathroom. Staff, like everyone else we came into contact with in Manchester, were very pleasantly helpful. "

"This is a lovely hotel, maybe a bit dated decor wise, but clean, quiet and comfortable. Rooms are spacious with usual tea etc, large TV, plenty of storage two chairs, tables and a fridge. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The restaurant serves a good variety of meals, which can also be purchased in the bar throughout the day. "Overall the stay was good. The room was clean and comfortable, with late breakfast available at weekends. The dining experience in the Inkwell bar/restaurant was very poor. Long waits at the bar to order even though there was enough staff. Ordered a steak, waitress was poor then had to go up to get a steak knife."

"Great hotel. Very clean and modern. Everything we needed and more. My only “complaint” would be the tiny elevators that seemed to have minds of their own, leaving line ups of travellers waiting to get on at every floor. "
