Comfortable beds and great views across the hotel grounds. My only tiny gripe was at breakfast when, even though the menu says that cooked breakfast is cooked to order unless it is particularly busy ( which it wasn’t when I was there as there were only about 8 people having breakfast), the bacon had obviously been pre-cooked and stood under a hot...

The nave was demolished in 1829 and now the church just has a stump of a nave as it is shown in the picture, being the section to the right of the tower nearest the pathway. The church is very impressive and must have been even more so before the nave was pulled down.
