"On arrival the reception staff were very welcoming, I believe the lady who dealt with us was called Katie. The staff in the restaurant in the evening again were lovely, very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. "

"I booked the Chequers as a mid way journey point before moving to France. Hotel was easy to find and park car in large rear car park. Receptionist was enchanting and helpful. Bar staff were very good, friendly and helpful. Rooms clean and tidy. Whole venue oozes with character. All staff were exceptional. Thanks for a lovely stay 😊"

"Staying was good but when we checking out time 6aclock we was trying to hand over key no body was on the counter after looking everywhere we found the person outside smoking actually we was hurry to go So I m really nt happy with dis service and also if we filled up everything when we booked the room why the lady asked to give the account no again and also when we arived they delayed to give the key so I m really nt happy with dis service anyway thank u very much "

"We loved our 2 night stay here, the restaurant was great (unfortunately couldn’t get a booking at Yu Pan Asian) and we loved that the outdoor pool was heated for swimming in winter. The spa facilities do get extremely busy and noisy on Saturday but Friday evening and Sunday it was really pleasant to use. Our massage treatments were amazing, very relaxing. "Lovely hotel on the outskirts of Swindon. Was ideal for a little weekend away prior to the Christmas chaos! The wife and I ate Dinner and Breakfast in the restaurant and on both occasions the food & service was excellent. We didn't use the pool on this occasion but can hopefully use it the next time we stay (which I'm sure we will). We stayed in executive room in the pavillion.
