"Lovely one night stay as part of a road trip down to Cornwall. The host was lovely and friendly and made us welcome. The room was comfortable and quiet and we slept well. Delicious cooked breakfast in the morning. Ideally I’d have liked a bigger bath sheet that could wrap round me after a shower but for a short stay it was perfectly fine. "

Very deep old and somewhat dangerous bathtub, with mixer shower taps. No way to shower without flooding. Very limited shelving/storage - nowhere to put washbags etc."

"This was an unscheduled stop on route to Cornwall due to bad weather. What a pleasant surprise, a beautiful old Inn a short distance from the A30. The staff were friendly and helpful, great service a lovely evening meal and an excellent breakfast. We will definitely be returning with hopefully better weather."
