"Cannot fault this property - everything from welcoming reception to friendly and helpful hotel staff, room comfort - bed and shower, food the works were just spot on. Even arriving on bikes they were able to find somewhere safe to store them. Would recommend and would return . "

"The room we stayed in wasn’t as clean as we would have liked it to be. Sticky marks on tables, bedside tables, yellow stains around sink/bath taps, the chairs, carpets in room were in need of replacement, carpets and wall paper in ground corridors need to be updated too. The reception, restaurant and surrounding areas were lovely, clean and modern. "

"Spent three nights in the hotel with a friend who was visiting me in my home town - and the choice certainly proved worthwhile. The room was spacious and clean, while the breakfast buffet was first class. Only issue would be the 'double' bed was actually two singles pushed together leaving an uncomfortable ridge down the centre. "Comfortable beds in clean and tidy rooms. Good range of options for breakfast and the dining room is lovely. Really good views from the windows if you are lucky enought o get a seat there. Most of the double rooms seem to be in the annex. You won't necessarily be getting a room in the old building."
