"I am a falls creek regular for the snow season. This was the first time I tried the elk after seeing it many times and regularly having dinner there. Unfortunately the accomodation is poor. The room we had, apartment 10 seems good when you first arrive, the layout and features are fresh and modern. However functionality not so much. "The greats: Staff was friendly and welcoming! There’s complimentary shuttle from/to the ATS. The heated jet tub and pool relaxes your body after a day on the slopes. Food was good. Room was clean and warm. Located near the village. The only bad: Soundproofing was rather bad. I could hear conversations and footsteps happening outside the room... "The room is very cost and provide much comfort off skiing and great view of the mountains. There is no internet connection, got to relie on personal hotspot. The TV channels are good, and the kitchenette is well equipped. There are 4-5 flights of stairs to get to the apartment but the view is worth it. "

"The hotel staff were wonderful. WOTIF on the other hand I will never use this portal again after they confirmed our stay for 4 nights and only reserved 3 with the hotel and left the Hotel to clean up their mess. Overall rating for WOTIF ZERO"

The lodge appears recently renovated, with no detail spared in the rooms - from hooks to hang your jackets, to dressing gowns to wear to the spa downstairs. The dinner in the restaurant was top-notch, with a choice of 2 or 3 courses of quality fare and a very good wine list. Summit Ridge is conveniently located between Village Bowl and Slalom Plaza; would be ski in/out with enough snow cover; plus has the shuttle stop no6 right outside. There is also Central Snowsports rental opposite if you need to hire gear. We can't wait to come back!"
