"It was a lovely place, and the studio apartment was perfect for our needs, but the stairs to the second story apartment were difficult for our dog to manage. If you have a small dog that can be carried up and down the stairs, I would have no hesitation in recommending this apartment. If your dog needs to navigate the stairs by themselves, the coarse grating and steepness of the stairs will be extremely challenging. This problem, however, could be easily solved with a dog-friendly grate on one-half of the steps and walkway (I noticed that some other apartments had a less coarse, rubber attachment to one side of the stairs, which I’m sure our dog would have handled easily.) That said, thank you to the owners for offering dog-friendly accommodation."

"This is an awesome place to stay, we bring our dogs and the yard is clean and safe for them outside also. Perfectly comfortable for 4 people to stay, spotlessly clean and we will be back! (Again)Thanks Mel!"

"The house is very basic, which should be ok, but there was laundry left in the washing machine from a previous tenant and the house was full of cobwebs. We vacuumed the main bedroom, as it was pretty dirty. The fridge was not clean and neither was the toilet. On leaving and closing a window the glass just fell out! Serious maintenance needed. There was very nice linen and plenty of hot water, so I suppose it depend on what your expectations are. The location is great."

"Room was clean and comfortable but did not have air con or ceiling fans which we would have used as temps were low 30s . Good kitchenette and spacious room. Enjoyed our meal in the restaurant and the flavoured icecreams available on site."

"Out of season so didn't see any staff. Everything worked so great, great views, enjoyed the spa, but it makes too much noise overnight, turned it off at the switchboard and suggested my neighbour do the same."

"Hi,Just like to say we enjoyed our stay in your lovely cabin.The board games were great and provided some entertainment even for our older sons.Being a builder in the Albury Wodonga region I just thought I'd mention some items that need maintenance and improving.Both lights in lounge room need replacing.Some window winders don't work and need replacing.Some flyscreens need fixing, large holes as the flyscreen has separated from the frame. Lacking light in the kitchen area, very hard to see when cooking etc. No light on rangehood.Frying pan is long past it's due date. Needs replacing.Toilet roll holder downstairs is loose and the actual holder comes out and falls off. Not sure if this right?There is no light globe in the right hand bedside lamp.The upstairs beds were very wobbly. I tightened a lot of the bolts myself. An additional bolt that I could not reach fell out overnight and my son loosley put it backAlso there was soap provided in bathrooms. Just shampoo satchets.Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.Kind regards."

"My daughter lives and works an hour away from Tawonga South and was keen to explore the local area. I travelled from Newcastle, NSW, and we had a fantastic time walking around the local sights and enjoyed a drive to Bright, Porepunkah and Mt Buffalo chalet - an amazing part of the world with so much to see and do. Paul and Jacqui were warm and welcoming and we thoroughly enjoyed staying their their gorgeous little loft apartment. The deck and large leafy yard were so relaxing and inviting and the apartment was fresh and clean and met all our needs. Thankyou so much."
