"Was looking for a hotel near Lindisfarne. This one was well reviewed and was close enough for us. We were called before travelling that the chef was ill but given alternatives for eating in the evening. This wasn't a problem as we had only booked breakfast. The room was clean comfortable and cosy with a large clean bathroom. Peaceful nights sleep. Breakfast was superb and extremely filling. Staff were all polite and helpful. All in all lovely hotel in a lovely village. Would go back again."

"Upon arrival to Berwick we had a difficulty in finding the hostel and had to ring for the directions unfortunately. There's no TV in our room, no internet access as well which is a bummer 😕😔 Apart from that it's good that our room is situated in the ground floor which is good for me since I'm a disabled and the bathroom is a big plus,too!"

"We enjoyed our recent stay here. The room was excellent with a spotless new bathroom and comfortable bed. Better pillows would have been nice but not a problem for a short stay. The food was very good but the service rather slow. We weren't in any hurry but 30-40 minutes to produce breakfast after ordering seemed a bit excessive. Staff were all very friendly and helpful so positive overall."

It has a wonderful open living and dining area with an expansive view of the town of Eyemouth. "Good place for a 2 night stay. Single beds were very narrow for an adult. No towels or tea towels which would have been good. Service from the owner was brilliant...she is a very nice lady. It was a shame that the pub/restaurant has closed as you have to go in to Berwick for food. "
