"Lovely hotel right beside the train station. Short walk into town. Very comfortable bed would stay here again. If you like a bath request when booking I had a shower but others had beautiful roll top baths."

"Good value for money. Pretty decent room. Extra points for the tiny fridge. Only negative I found was the shower. Water temperature fluctuated and the showerhead itself was the fixed-on-the-wall kind which I don't prefer for better hygiene."

"Visited for one night and we were both very impressed for the price. The staff were all friendly, the room was nice and clean. We stayed DB&B and the breakfast was lovely from the buffet. The evening meal was at The Fat Abbot and this was also really good. Following the meal we sat in the bar at the hotel and ennjoyed a drink in front of the open fire. Liked it that much we are having another night next week."

"The service from the recetionist to the bar and canteen staff was amazing, 10/10 in fact, the hotel is very up to date, clean and extremely posh, spa area outstanding and the rooms were huge, food was also a 10, breakfast especially, i will be back and i will be held to this as my kids will not stop askimg me to re book aleady, thankyou all x"
