"What a gem! Wonderfully located so you can walk straight on the moor by the hatter rocks. Fantastic breakfast, very comfortable rooms and very dog friendly. Our room was in the ground flooor opening out onto garden area, so perfect for taking the dogs out and having a coffee on the patio area. Lovely garden area for evening drinks. "Spa lovely although not enough chairs when busy. Found mattress really hard and uncomfortable in room and sheets were not as good as premiere inn, scratchy. Also shirt of amenities you would expect such as shower cap, washcloth, bathroom amenities. In room hairdryer was cheap and took ages to dry, shame as could be really good, it’s like the spend all the money in the spa but not other little things you would expect when paying £160 per night "

"Hotel it's self was very basic and outdated. Positive: Rooms were clean and comfy. Very great size and location. Very close to the pier and amenities. Parking on site which is very helpful with a busy beach front. Negatives: Paint peeling off the ceiling and mouldy lampshade could do with being replaced. TV signal was very spotty, unable to watch any channels. WiFi was spotty and not really usable in room. Bedroom heater left on full when we arrived making the room extremely uncomfortable...
