"We stayed for three nights at the tail end of a trip around the Pelopennese. Everything was great. The bay it overlooks is beautiful. The room was clean and well put together. And the pool/bar/food scenes are all very good and no problems at all (not spectacular, but all well done). Finally, the staff were really approachable and had some excellent ideas on places to go in Mani that weren't showing up in my guide book and google searches. I have no hesitation recommending people go here. "

"We stayed in the deluxe suite and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The view from our deck was breathtaking and we loved the suite setup. They include a delicious breakfast from their lovely restaurant. If you have mobility issues I don’t think this hotel would be a great choice. For everyone else I would highly recommend. If we were to be in Monemvasia again we would 100% stay here. "

"If you're under the age of 40 stay somewhere down the road in the main town of Gytheio!! My boyfriend and I (age 30 and 29) felt way too young and energetic for this sleepy hotel. Upon arrival, there were two stains on the outdated, cheap hotel which is not up to standard for a hotel listed as 4 stars. This is definitely not a 4 star hotel. "We had an amazing experience at Villa Vager. We were greeted by a very friendly host who took our bags up to our second level room. The room was spacious and so cozy. We had to leave early in the am to get to the airport so they accommodated us with an early breakfast. They brought the food up to our private veranda and it was very delicious. We wish we could have spent another few nights, maybe next time! "
