"We had a corner room on the third floor which had views down the pedestrian part of Avon Street and James Street, both bustling streets filled with people, restaurants and shops. We were in easy walking distance of many attractions, with many points of interest along the way. The room was airy and clean and breakfast was wonderful."

"Visiting Bath for a rugby match meant the hotel was in a great location. Easy walking distance to the Rex. Easy walking distance to all the bars shops and restaurants. Lovely welcome from staff in reception, friendly bar staff - delicious food and food menu in the evening although some choices were not available at 8pm on a Saturday night despite there being only 3 tables filled. Great breakfast buffet. Only complaint for the weekend was reporting the toilet flush/ cistern not working properly...

Hotel is in a great location, right in the town centre. The hotel is surrounded by beautiful cobbled streets with many lovely little eclectic, independent shops in which you could spend many happy hours pottering! "It's not every day you can say you stayed in a 16th century hotel. Of course getting to the room is tricky unless you have balance on wonky floors & stairs. But it's character features, bit of creaky floorboards. The room was fairly modern but was surprised no telephone which I needed. Had to shut the window to sleep to cut down outside noises but not totally. Food was good, restaurant was full, staff friendly. Unique experience."
