"My family and I traveled to Algiers from California and we stayed at Hotel Soltane for few days. We had and excellent experience. Very clean, conveniently located near the City and all the tourist sites. Most importantly, the hotel staff were very friendly and offered EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE. We will stay here again on our next visit."

If one is English speaking only, this hotel is not for you. English is poorly spoken and poorly understood. We ate lunch at their restaurant, being the only ones there. "The pool wasn't open, the staff were very kind and cordial with me but the front desk was very rude to my wife and also refused to give the proper room after having an issue. this issue was not corrected until the following day and the room rates are almost 30$ apart. Cleaning staff was fantastic, and all but one of the restaurant staff were very pleasant. some of the amenities were not properly functioning"

"An older property that's well maintained, the El Aurassi has unparalleled views of the harbor and city. Staff are attentive, multi-lingual and food is good. Room was comfortable and clean.
