"Short break (3 nights) away. Hotel is easy to find and a very imposing/impressive looking building. When we arrived there was a school prom on so there was traffic queued on the drive but there is plenty of parking. Excellent check in, short time later when I enquired about a fan as the room was hot the receptionist gave me the fan behind the desk! Room I felt was dark especially when there is a mirror by the TV but no downwards illumination in that area. Breakfast excellent, staff helpful, fabulous terrace area behind the main bar, snooker table in Bunkers bar...but only 1 (terrible) cue!. Only issue we had was on the (final) Saturday night 10.00pm some kids running along the corridors banging doors. After the 3rd time I went looking for them and they legged it into the gents toilet opposite the main bar. Although a number were hiding in the cubicles they had a peace of my mind and lots of expletives!! Informed Kate the duty manager and advised her to check the CCTV. No problem Thursday and Friday, must be different clientele on a Saturday. Overall a great stay, would definitely stay again."

"Staff very friendly and helpful indeed. Hotel with character was nice. Only criticism would be bar needs updating. Breakfast great but dining tables for 2 were rather too small. Bedroom and bathroom fitted out very nicely. Would stay again and recommmend "

"Beautiful location and the golf course looks really good although unfortunately I didn’t get time to use it. Staff excellent really friendly and helpful. Room a little tired probably would benefit from an upgrade "

"Unfortunately, there was a school prom on the night we arrived and the noise was very loud while the disco was in operation. However, the noise ended around 11pm and didn't ruin our sleep."

"Lovely hotel, perfectly located for Norwich city, a lovely walk along the riverside. View of Norwich football pitch made my husbands stay, he was over the moon. Staff very helpful and accommodating. Will definitely return. "

"We usually stay the night before our travels from Norwich airport. The hotel is walking distance from the airport . This time we did have an issue with our room. However this was quick;y sorted out by Nikki, she was extremely helpful, very professional and wished for our stay to be a happy one. Thank you Nikki. We did have our evening meal in the restaurant. It is so nice to have a relaxing time before travelling the next day."

"Great location and the apartment is lovely. It has everything you need for the kitchen such as utensils and pots and pans and a fridge. It also has a washing machine! The people that work there are really friendly and hospitable. Will book again."
