"Health and safety issues with the sauna. Shower pipes in the changing rooms are leaking bad. In the first room they had to put a portable heater in the room because the heating wasn't working? I feel so sorry for the staff. Their holding Thier heads up high to a hotel that needs a complete refurbishment. How they can charge this amount for the state of this hotel is beyond me . I hope the main owners read this and go pay this hotel a visit. And to thank they're employees for the wonderful work...

"I loved staying at The Dunvegan. First of all, the staff was outstanding. They were friendly and responsive. The hotel was clean, and my room was kept in prime condition. The breakfasts were yummy, and one night I ate in and the fish and chips were the best I've had. The hotel was central, so I could walk everywhere with ease. If I return to St. Andrews, The Dunvegan will be my first choice of where to stay. Thank you!"

The shower room was new and worked well - good water pressure - and the room although a bit small, was entirely adequate for our needs. The staff were very helpful and pleasant. "We had a lovely stay at The Bank. Room was at the back with a cracking view and was nice and quiet. Breakfast was amazing too, I had smoked haddock both days. Only gave 3 stars for condition as bathroom door handle was loose, shower head was loose and fell down in the holder and there was only one hand towel. Long haired folks need a separate towel for their hair. Apart from this the room was spotless. Tea, coffee and water provided, will definitely stay again."
