"Even though the area wasn’t the newest or cleanest, I would argue that it was one of the best neighborhoods in Taipei. It was close to Taipei main station so going to the airport was super convenient. The Datong and Xongshan neighborhoods were also walkable to each other, and they were the two coolest districts in Taipei for shopping and culture. The staff were also very friendly and helpful. The corner king suite was spacious and comfortable. The only complaint was that the facilities were kind of old and not as clean as we expected. There was quite a bit of wear and tear and the drapes looked like it needed to be washed. But nothing so bad so we still felt comfortable staying there. Overall, we would stay there again. "

"Hotel facilities are new and the service from the hotel staff was excellent. It is a bit pricey compared to the rest of the hotels in the vicinity but it was worth it, especially after spending one whole day outdoors touring the city, coming back to the room to recharge our tired bodies. They are generous with bottled water so you need not worry about hydration. The coffee machine (WMF) serves free flow coffee to perk you up for the day. Ximending night market is literally right downstairs, it is convenient but without the noise. The breakfast buffet was expensive so we didn’t try it. "
