"We stayed at the Old Vicarage for one night on our way down from Cheshire to visit family in Cornwall. We had a double room for my husband and I and our daughters shared a twin room with our dog. "Nice village pub. The ale was excellent. Pretty small room with tiny bathroom. Overall enjoyed our stay. We ate at the pub and the food and choice was pretty good. The fish pie was a little dissapointing, didnt see a prawn, and no smoked haddock to give flavour. Some nice walks by the river. Unfortunately didnt have time for the long walk to the coast and Ladram bay. A pity there was not close parking to do that."

While the property is very far from being an "all singing all dancing" modern hotel (no elevator for example); it has buckets of charm and is situated in an excellent location.
