"Found all staff to be very friendly and very helpful. Room was very warm, unable to open window wide enough to allow some cool night air in that was my only issue. "

"The pictures were n the sight are deceiving,the property was damp and dirty and we could not stay in it,apparently it was cleaned two weeks prior to our stay,cleaning should have been done the day before,the owner was very uncooperative,and has not issued a refund ,indeed he has ignored my request"

"We really enjoyed our stay at Charnwood Guest House. The spotless room had a comfortable bed, tea and coffee making facilities and hot shower. Breakfast was served fresh to order each morning. Location was a short walk along the river from the beach and restaurants. Finally a shout out to Ruth and Phil who were the most charming hosts you could hope to meet."
