"We choose this hotel so we could use and enjoy the spa facilities, unfortunately the thermal spa was out of use and we wasn’t informed of this at check in, which was very disappointing. Otherwise the hotel was a great location, staff were all friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again if the spa was fully available. "

"Lovely building. Really friendly and helpful staff. Excellent food in the restaurant. Good facilities. My only issue is that the layout of the building means you may have to walk a long way to your room. The room itself was clean and comfortable, if a little bit basic. Outside the building is mostly a golf course, would have been nice if there was somewhere to have a pleasant walk if you don't want to golf "

"We booked two rooms for one night. Both rooms had large beds, good facilities and were clean. Breakfast was lovely with the usual full English and continental available. The only problem was as it was a Saturday night one of the rooms had a problem with noise from the street of revellers. Very friendly staff and the refurbishment is not a problem."
