"Look! It's a lovely hotel, beautifully positioned, immaculately clean and functional rooms etc. But little thing annoyed me. The check in was poor. After a wait of around 7 minutes, no apology. An then it just seemed an incredibly long process - much longer than most hotels. And with a prepaid booking, and my credit card already scanned, they bizarrely demanded Photo ID. In the lovely bathroom, with a lovely bath, the penny-pinching meant that all they provided was liquid soap, secured high...

My search criteria for accommodation includes, King Bed, Off street Parking, clean rooms and bathrooms, won't stay anywhere that has a shower curtain instead of glass screen. I always check reviews, and the reviews for Mercure Rouse Hill were very favourable. It is a little difficult to find but it is a true surprise in the very best way. Clean, modern and lots of eateries to choose from. "
