"This is an "adult property", not a proper place to stay unless one is looking for a discrete place to have sex. I feel I was bamboozled into making this reservation and I doubt I will ever see my money back. For the record, it is a very long distance from the center of Ouro Preto. "

"The Pousada Brasil is a 6-7 minute walk to the main town square, and the owner/manager is very friendly and helpful. As with many pousadas, the hotel is a very traditional building with a little balcony, nice windows with shutters. The room was very spacious, with a walk-in closet, and views towards the street outside and historic centre, which I liked. "

"O hotel é muito gostoso no geral, porém algumas instalações precisam de um capricho e cuidado a mais. A piscina coberta é bem gostosa, porém alguns azulejos do fundo estão quebrados, inclusive cortei meu dedo em um deles. As luzes da piscina aquecida e da academia não acendem antes de escurecer, ficando muito escuro para ir ap banheiro e na academia. "Very stylish accommodation close to everything, very convenient and safe parking. You’re transported back in history with modern conveniences and beautiful view of the town. Staff speaks English which is be big reprieve from translator on cell phones. Breakfast is awesome and everything is organic, I haven’t eaten eggs with yellow orange yolks since I was a child! "I wouldn’t stay on this property again. They gave me a room on the third floor, no elevator and no one to help us with my luggages. It was located on a very downhill street, we were afraid to slide down hill. The bed was hard like a rock. The breakfast didn’t impress me ."

"Atendimento muito agradável de todos! Quartos confortáveis e perto do centro. Café da manhã gostoso. Quarto que fiquei (com varanda)não tem central de ar apenas ventilador que foi suficiente. Somente o barulho dos carros e motos que começa cedo, para quem tem problema com isso, pois a pousada fica em uma rua asfaltada movimentada. Eu nao tive problema, porém outra pessoa pode ter."
