"This historical property is located in the Terra Nostra Garden Park. The garden is huge and delightful to explore. Even though the large thermal pool was closed due to renovation, we were able to enjoy the smaller thermal jacuzzis. We also enjoyed the dining room for breakfast and dinner. "

" Lovely hotel in a great location.Would definitely recommend it.Overlooking the marina with an ocean view . Tours pick up from hotel.Would have liked to have tea and coffee making facilities in the room but not by far a deal breaker.You will not be disappointed.I write this as a single traveller."

"Quaint boutique hotel within walking distance to center city…. Right near gates, bell tower and waterfront. A very short walk to Antonio Borges botanical gardens (you must eat lunch at their restaurant- THE BEST). A little longer walk to Arruda Pineapple Plantation which was our favorite plantation. "El hotel está muy bien. Nuevo, comodo y bonito. Bien ubicado. El desayuno excelente. Recomendable. La piscina cubierta esta bien, el spa es sencillo, dolo un jacuzzi para unas 6 persinas, no hay mas. No sexpuede considerar spa. Nobhsy chorros en la piscina.... pero hay sauna. "

"Amazing property close to downtown Sao Miguel. Shopping and restaurants near by. Great front desk staff. Turkish baths were quite relaxing after long days of exploring this beautiful island. Rooms were spacious and very nice! Would definitely stay here again. "

"Since I was benefitted from reading others’ comments, want to document my experience in case it is helpful for anyone in future. First, the most positive is the location. To south, it takes 10 minutes to walk to waterfront/downtime. To north, walk less 10 minutes for gas station and a large shopping complex in which you may find food court, grocery store, etc. During peak season, probably convenient to walk around instead driving and trying to find a parking spot. "Great hotel right in the centre of the town. Sophia was a great help at the desk too with getting us reservations and calling us cabs. The hot tub and sauna was by reservation which was nice so you get it all to yourself. And theres a nice cafe and bar across the way from the hotel so you can get a close final drink for the night."

"The Asian restaurant had a chef that created a beautiful vegan dinner especially for me. The spa services were divine. The facility is beautiful and clean, and the staff very pleasant. Recommended!"

"This is a very convenient location on the island for the following reasons. When staying at other hotels in the tourist areas such as furnas/ sete cidades you have to drive up steep roads daily to traverse in/out of your hotels city. That can take hours of your day away and depending on time of day (night hours) or weather can be unsafe having to commute such steep terrain. This hotel is located conveniently in the middle of the island, away from the main city so you can enjoy nature (15 min drive to Ponta Delgada). Staff was excellent, they provide you with a cellphone for your room which they communicate with for reservations/ attraction ideas to visit, any questions you might have. Beach is conveniently right there, myself and every guest i saw enter during my 1 week stay there all said “wow” when you walk in and take in the views at reception. I miss my stay there already. "
