"The owner is very nice and we were received in a very kind fashion. The house is fashionable and very cozy. The surroundings are just amazing. No need to worry about parking, since there is a parking spot right in front of the house, inside the property. We just loved it."

In addition, the back yard space was wonderful and private. The only negative was that it was difficult to get air to flow, insect-free, through the house. "Rental was clean and in close proximity to natural pools in city. Spacious inside with inner courtyard. Air conditioner worked well. General maintenance of the rental could be improved. On our arrival we were informed the refrigerator needed replacing. It was replaced two days into our stay. Car rental is required."

"It is very much like the photos. There are 3 floors and a circular wood staircase. Kitchen Living Room and bathroom on entry level, 2 bedrooms 1 bath on second level and living area and balcony on top level. You can walk everywhere in town, and we found parking on street with meter. The bed was comfy with quality bedding. The instructions for sight seeing were awesome. I highly recommend. We had a great visit on this stunning island. "

"My children loved this home. Its lava bricks are amazing. My children were able to experience European living and I had all the modern amenities to use. Awesome little hiking trail close by at Praia de Amora. Highly recommend!"

"The Blue House was a wonderful home away from home. From the many windows are beautiful views of the sea and coastline. The host welcomed us with a bottle of wine, local cheese and bread, and basics like eggs, butter etc… It is best to have a rental car as it is about a 20 min drive to the Ponta Delgada and the airport."
