"We stayed the night ahead of spa treatments we had booked. Rather surprised to be asked for a deposit against damage to the room! Otherwise staff friendly and replied promptly to a request to ensure a twin room which was spacious and clean."

"We booked a Standard Double Room and it was clear on investigation on our return home that we had been allocated an Economy Room, which was disappointing. The property and room were spotlessly clean. The view from the window was over a dirty back yard and it might be worth considering making the lower half of the window all opaque, as a couple of the panes already were. It would benefit from a comfortable seating area, as when the wine bar closed, mid afternoon, there was nowhere to sit other...

"Such a magical place to stay for the nearby town. All of the Harry Potter filming locations were awesome to see and the town was so chill. There was something very D&D about checking in with the bar keep to get a room at the Inn above the pub. We absolutely loved staying here, and everyone was extremely kind. "

Even the price was worth every penny and although we didn’t have an evening meal we enjoyed the bar area to socialise. Saw a mistake on my bill and Vincent refunded me immediately. Would stay there again its lovely!"
