"Clean with very helpful and friendly staff who went out of their way to provide exceptional service. Good breakfast but supper could have been better with poor (re-heated?) vegetables and an over-sweet and dry, not very sticky, toffee pudding. The interior was modern and comfortable but not what I expected and would have preferred from an old coaching inn. I found the bed a bit hard but my wife was comfortable. "It's a lovely hotel we have stayed before in both the main house and the outbuildings. Plenty of parking and beautiful views. Food and breakfast were nice. The main menu for dinner has changed since our last stay which I believe was the previous July. Personally we preferred the old menu we didn't feel the options were as good this time but that may just be down to personal preference. "

"Lovely hotel on the outskirts of Swindon. Was ideal for a little weekend away prior to the Christmas chaos! The wife and I ate Dinner and Breakfast in the restaurant and on both occasions the food & service was excellent. We didn't use the pool on this occasion but can hopefully use it the next time we stay (which I'm sure we will). We stayed in executive room in the pavillion. "Such a magical place to stay for the nearby town. All of the Harry Potter filming locations were awesome to see and the town was so chill. There was something very D&D about checking in with the bar keep to get a room at the Inn above the pub. We absolutely loved staying here, and everyone was extremely kind. "

"We had a lovely stay at the plough inn , it was a lovely little pub, so welcoming warm and friendly, our room was very cosy very comfortable and clean, a good selection of tea and coffee. The breakfast was delicious, plentiful and with a good of choice of alternatives to a full English. Would highly recommend! "
