"Mark was friendly and accommodating … excellent stay bed was so comfy slept like a baby ! Only making people aware that if mobility is an issue , I can be difficult . But fantastic stay and will definitely book again if in the area ! Lovely little village with a stunning breakfast around then corner at The cricklade club ! "

"Ideal stay when attending a function at Grittleton house as only a few mins walk. Room was clean however was very cold (we did stay in December). Breakfast was good but no veggie option for my wife and I did not like the cats walking around the dining room and at times sat on my lap and walked across the table."

"It's 1:02 in the morning and still the pub is full of drunk, loud people singing at the top of their lungs. Management must be encouraging it since no one has told them to go home. When you have guest rooms, you should practice respect for your guests who are trying to sleep!! Never again will we come here. "

"The room was very beautiful and clean. The breakfast was very good. The hostess was accommodating. The location is a bit remote, but that what gives the serene country-side vibe. Since there is no dining option, then a minifridge in the room would be very useful. "

"Terrible place to stay. The shared bathroom had broken and dirty toilet seat, the music in the bar each night was loud and raucous. Couldn't get any sleep. Left before the end of planned stay - Don't stay there!"

"Truly gorgeous property, serene, friendly, helpful and responsive team. Plush and Modern bathrooms; one with a clawfoot tub, sleek shower and his/her sinks! The kitchen was also quite lovely and meticulously redone and well stocked with things for tea and coffee etc. The rooms were quite spacious and clean with lovely countryside views and what must be the most comfortable bed on this side of the pond! "Room was extremely small - no room for suitcases or bags. Midgies were an issue and had to close window - being so small the room was super stuffy. A fan was available which helped a little. If stairs are an issue for you - find somewhere else. Okay for a quick one night stop but wouldn’t recommend for any longer. Dinner (lamb) was amazing - highly recommend the food. "
