"The hotel was very well situated for our needs and Great Dunmow is a very lovely spot, with a great feel to the high street. Upon arrival we were met by the receptionist, Mandy, who was friendly and knowledgeable and helped us with the usual arrival procedures. All of the staff were friendly and keen to help. We had a meal in the restaurant that was first rate and some welcome drinks in the bar before heading off to an event in the town. The room was lovely, well appointed, quiet and cosy. Lovely touch to have a DAB radio in the room tuned to Classical music station, adding to the room ambience. Breakfast was lovely too."
