Dining is very reasonable and the onsite bar is great. Breakfast for a reasonable fee is complete with custom cooked Scottish entrees as well as a buffet bar with fruit, pastries, coffees, and fruit juices. The hotel is in close walking distance to Old Town and New Town including a number of museums, and city parks. If you arrive at EDI airport you can purchase a multi day tram pass that allows cross town trips as well as returning to the airport. The hotel is a short walk to Waverley Train station. Nearby are day trip tours as well as car rental."
