"I have always wanted to visit Rye after l heard about it on the radio. I was not disappointed. The Ship Inn staff were very welcoming, the food was lovely and also the atmosphere, you felt that the staff were happy in their work. We had our rather large dog with us, who settled quickly to his different surroundings. Also a sausage treat now and then was welcomed. I would definitely stay there again, also so well placed for accessing the town, only downside is parking, we managed each time to...

We stayed in the Courtyard room which had brilliant underfloor heating (in fact it was a little too hot during the evening), lots of cute oriental artefacts and a large amount of space. The kimono style robes and slippers are a lovely editions, as well as the little chocolate eggs...
