"Flight arrived from Bergamo airport past midnight, only 10 mins to get an Uber to the hotel but it is on the pricey side €42 for a short journey but considering not having to drag my luggage all the way to Milan, that was an ideal solution. The hotel staff was very helpful with late check in. Room was extremely spacious and modern. Perfect temperature without me having to adjust the air conditioning. "The hotel appeared a bit old from the exterior but our room was actually in an upgraded area of the hotel and was quite comfortable. We even had a view of the old city centre on the hill. The location is fabulous as it's close to the funicular to the old town as well as being close to the city centre and the train station. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was nice. Overall, great stay!"

"Great stay at Acquaviva. We got a nice room with lake view and Balcony. Staff was courteous and nice. Breakfast had a lot of options. Hotel is a 45 mins walk to downtown Desenzano (lake front walk with a great view) and 1:30 walk to Sirmione. We absolutely adored the tratoria del pescatore that is a few blocks away. Spa was great too, the only down thing is that there is no spa tub like advised and they force you to wear a swim cap"
