There is no supermarket so you need a car to do the shopping. The old center of Portese was very beautiful and had nice wine bar. One evening there was a very nice market in Portese with barbecue. "The area is quiet and peaceful, the surrounding scenery is very beautiful. The villa in general is clean and tidy but there are some shortcomings especially since we stayed for 7 nights, we needed a net to clean the pool for example and we didn't find any, also some of the bed covers were not very clean. But they are small comments because the situation in general was good and the villa is really beautiful and comfortable to stay in."
