"Possitive: Value for money, good location, quite area, good sea view from our room, staff are very helpfull and kind, free pickup/drop off from/to the ship port, very clean, free usage of sea towels, 24/7 reception,shops near the hotel. Negative: Wifi have very bad signal and is very slow, poor breakfast, mosque is behind the hotel, no elevator in the hotel We had a very good stay in Velana hotel. I suggest the hotel."

"Lovely hotel with a great bunch of staff who are always willing to help. There's a nice restaurant at the hotel and plenty of other dining options in the area. Fairly easy to get around. I would recommend the hotel's massage service because it was very good and same prices as other nearby spas. You can also pay by card at hotel which wasn't possible at the local spas I went to. I was there for two nights, on route to one of the islands. I feel that was plenty of time in Male if you're in...

"This motel was value for money we stayed on a stop over so was in our room for a total of 7 hours over night. they made us a take away breakfast which was a kind jester. "Great hotel, from the warm welcome to last farewell everything was smooth and highly enjoyable. We loved the fact the whole island is set in lush greenery and i feels very private despite full occupancy. Staff is extremely friendly and helpfull. We stayed on half board basis and there was always something to choose from. I am sure there are better resorts for snorkeling but if you you are patient you find some good marine life as well (we did snorkel on the surf beach behind the reception)...
