"Our first room was very small, manageable for no more than a single night. So tiny there was no space for our cases. However Martin sorted a larger room without any drama and we had a great stay."

"Needed a hotel where I could leave a trailer. Extremely helpful when I phoned and equally helpful in sorting out afternoon tea even though their kitchen was shut. One of the best meals I have had at the restaurant especially when considering the price. Good breakfast choice. Grounds beautiful and resident peacock and peahen. Tranquil. Bed comfortable just needed to be a little careful of low ish beam in room."

"The hotel and staff where excellent, but we where quite disappointed that the swimming pool was not open and we had not been notified of this prior to booking. Car parking was limited and some parking areas difficult to access."

"It was in a lovley village and the room was okay with all you needed for a 2 night stay. Staff were friendly i just wished it was a full free cooked breakfast rather than just a free continental breakfast . For the price of the room i think it was a bit expensive. But overall a lovley place. "
