"It has to be said that the location, friendliness of the reception staff and breakfast in this hotel were great. The views from the 4th floor restaurant are amazing and look out over the Faro Marina. It's a short walk from here to the Train Station. Unfortunately the Rooftop Pool as pictured and selling this hotel was closed during my trip which may have changed my mind if known in advance ! "Stayed with my niece lovely hotel, excellent breakfast. Found room to be a bit small for 2. I also found buffet dining to be expensive. Our first night there was A Tuesday and they have live music on Tuesday until 10 pm. It was very loud and made sleeping impossible until music ended. Not my favorite aspect of a hotel."

"Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hotel is exactly as pictured. Staff was amazing. A few tiny gripes: there is no heated pool or jacuzzi, linens are done every 3rd day and only 1 towel per person is supplied. "This hotel is absolutely stunning!!!! Perfect family hotel. Set across 3 big hotel resorts with the most amount of pools I've ever seen. 2 splash parks. The pools are all shallow and so family friendly. We only ate breakfast but was delicious. The apartment was so comfortable and absolutely beautiful. The sofa bed pulls out as 2 separate single beds. "

"Very nice hotel. We visited in late November so enjoyed lying by the outdoor pool but swimming inside! Big indoor pool and sauna. Did one of the classes which was good, and played tennis. Broad range of food. House wines were ok and not expensive. Bed was enormous. Only issue was air con was on heating mode and we were too hot, even with it off. Slept with door open. "

"This is our second stay at White Shell. The units are spacious and well equipped but there is a pet fee which is per night (25€) rather than a flat cleaning fee. This can add up quite quickly if you are hoping to stay for more than a few days - which we found unusual for an aparthotel. This one of the reasons we will not return. Lovely stay

"Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hotel is exactly as pictured. Staff was amazing. A few tiny gripes: there is no heated pool or jacuzzi, linens are done every 3rd day and only 1 towel per person is supplied. We did not feel misled in any way, but this is not the "typical" American experience. These small inconveniences did little to distract from a wonderful stay. The nearby beach is amazing. It is accessible by either hotel transport (included) or walking. We normally chose to walk for the exercise. Truly breathtaking beach. We went in their offseason (Feb - March). No crowds anywhere. Beach virtually empty, streets easy to navigate. For our family vacation, this was the perfect vibe. We will definitely be going back."
