"Everything in the apartment has been thought about. Wanted to cook in for a couple of days and the kitchen was superb. Really appreciated the Christmas cushions and tablecloth and wine/water in the fridge. View from balcony was great and tv had everything from bbc to Netflix.Highly recommended "

"This was my 1st solo trip to Albufeira, but a familiar area as I've stayed at Santa Eulalia many times now. I wasn't expecting the apartment to do be so big as I was staying alone, but it was large enough to sleep 4 people. All rooms were spacious. The sofa bed in the living room did look quite worn, so could do with replacing. The kitchen had all the facilities needed including an oven, stove top, microwave and washing machine. "Excellent stay at Apartamentos Tucha.Very central about 30 metres from Albufeira escalators this everything was at walking distance. Met Andre on arrival who communicated well prior to arrival and provided a good introduction to the apartment. The stay included free cleaning on 6th day which was done at high standards. The apartment doesn't have a washing machine and dishwasher but that is how it is advertised.There are launderettes within 10 minutes walk."

"A last minute, 1 night booking before we flew home found us here. The apartment was spacious for 4 of us, the bathroom is tiny but we had everything we needed. Very clean and in a very good location."

"The apartment is in a quiet residential area. It was equipped with everything that we needed. It's a short 5 to 10 minute walk to the centre and the beach. We had a wonderful relaxing stay."

"Had a great stay at the apartment which had everything you need for an enjoyable holiday. The unexpected welcome pack was much appreciated and both Adrian and Anita were very helpful.Would have no hesitation in recommending this apartment to family and friends."

"My husband and I stayed here for three weeks. The condo was sparkling clean, probably the cleanest place we have ever rented. I loved the size of the unit, it worked out perfectly for us. Since we eat in more than we eat out, I found the kitchen well equipped and a good size for preparing meals. We also found no issue with parking in September. I would definitely recommend staying here."

"Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hotel is exactly as pictured. Staff was amazing. A few tiny gripes: there is no heated pool or jacuzzi, linens are done every 3rd day and only 1 towel per person is supplied. "The Roots Hotel was very convenient and comfortable, with a great location. We needed a parking spot, which they provided in an underground garage for a cost of 7 euros per day. We also needed to be near the train station, which was a very short walk from the hotel. And we wanted to be near Faro Airport, which was a short taxi ride away. In addition, there were tons of restaurants within a few blocks from the hotel. So the location was ideal for our stay and the front desk was very friendly. They offered complimentary coffee/cappuccino, etc in a room off the lobby. The room itself had a good separate bathroom with a large shower, a kitchenette with a fridge, sink, stove, microwave and dishes/dishwasher. We had no complaints about the room at all. Out of the 6 hotels we stayed at during our visit to Portugal, The Roots would be rated in the top two. I would definitely stay there again!"

Special stay in a lovely location

"Great location and views from roof terrace and the room. Breakfast buffet was fresh, lots of choice. Staff were amazing and noticed that one of our party had a Birthday the day of our check in and arranged a lovely surprise of a bottle of Sparkling to be brought to the room. This made an already lovely stay even more special."
