"First, this isn't a spa hotel. The 'spa' area was closed, but even if open, it's tiny and definitely not comparable with a proper spa hotel. What the hotel does do is host big events, and they are noisy. We couldn't stay in our room as it was directly above the disco and although the staff did find us another room, it was tiny - no bath, no fridge, no view (barely a window). It was quiet thankfully, but it was not worth the cost and wasn't at all what we paid for. "

"Fantastic stay in the Casterbridge Hotel. It was a last minute booking, but that didnt worry the lovely owner. The hotel was beautiful and clean, we stayed in a room with a four poster bed which was amazing. The hotel decor is in keeping with the age of the building and looks beautiful. The owner was extremely knowledgeable and helpful on the best places to eat and things to do in and around Dorchester. Breakfast was delicious, freshly cooked and local produce, pleanty of choice. "It was spotlessly clean and we had a very warm welcome from Liz, the owner. I must admit , she goes the extra mile when it comes to make us comfortable. The breakfasts are extra special. She makes the bread herself and also makes the marmalade. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Liongate B&B"

"The Pebbles B& B was such a clean and well decorated place. Our room benefitted from a walk in shower, a ceiling light and fan , a fridge and a lovely King size bed and tea and coffee facilities. Paul and Karen made us so welcome and made the front of house parking available for my husbands access so much easier. The freshly cooked breakfast was lovely and was a pleasure to get up for... Would certainly recommend the B&B to anyone who wanted to visit Weymouth."
