"We are just back from a two nights break at the ‘Derwent Manor Hotel’ celebrating three birthdays and we were completely blown away from the start to the finish. Debbie and Natalie who made us so welcome on arrival. There was eleven of us in the group and everyone was blown away with the quality of their rooms along with the quality of the food and service that we received both at dinner time and breakfast time. We all agreed that we’d had a great weekend and took our hats off to the staff that looked after us. None of us found a single fault with the weekend break and we will definitely look to book there again in the future as there is so much to do and see in the area. Thank you to management and staff for taking care of us."

"We stopped overnight at the Fleece returning home to London from Scotland. It was delightful stay. A very comfortable room and great bathroom. Attentive service and a good dinner. Breakfast was not quite so good, but adequate for what we wanted before we got back on the road. "

"Good value and nicely equipped rooms. Staff were helpful and friendly which added to a pleasant stay. We were a four man fishing group and breakfast from 07:30 was great for us to make an early start. Food was good and reasonably priced (we ate in the restaurant all three nights). It is highly likely that we will stay again next year."
