Rooms a bit dated but clean and comfortable. You may need to get creative to charge electronic devices as outlets are scarce. Nice breakfast with wide variety offered. Transport to town on the funicular is available during the day, ample parking at the hotel. "

"I stayed in this fabulous chocolate hotel in early October when I was walking on the Camino way. After a 10 mile day of walking, it was wonderful to get there and berated with a wine spritzer with chocolate shavings, delicious chocolate bar, and a beautiful hotel. The breakfast was included and was absolutely fabulous. I highly recommend this place. "

"This guy needs to communicate with guests better. I requested how to get in the day before, then twice the morning of my arrival. I didn't hear from him until 2:30 pm and check in was at 3. I was in Braga at that point and had to go wait in a cafe until I got his email. (It was raining) When I showed up at the place, a couple was outside trying to get in. Then later, after I returned around 8 pm, another couple was outside who couldn't get in. I let them in."
