"The staff were really friendly and very helpful. Everyone was so welcoming to us and my dog. The room was spacious and warm. The bar was funny, playing Coronation Street on the big TV on Friday night was an unexpected vibe! The pool, sauna and steam room were lovely and warm, clean and inviting. However the changing rooms could do with an update! And no coffee machine working for morning coffees or espresso martinis was gutting! "Stayed here for 2 nights along with our 2 dogs. For the price we weren't expecting much, but we were pleasently surprised. Quick check-in staff very friendly, room was a bit dated, but was well looked after, clean and tidy. The bathroom was in good condition and spotlessly clean. Free parking on site is a bonus. Only slight moan is the add on costs for dogs, £8 per dog per night. Now I totally get a cleaning charge as dogs can and do create a bit more mess than 2 adults, however a one of...

"Very last minute booking. Recently my mother passed away and I was feeling very down, so my husband booked a surprise trip for me, so we could go to my favourite place in Cornwall. Wonderful greeting when we arrived in the pouring rain, lovely staff (Mandy) and when we needed something a little later on, again, a fantastic reception(Jo),so helpful. "The hotel was in a lovely location overlooking the sea. The room was lovely with balcony. The bed was super comfortable with great crisp white sheets. Couldn’t fault the breakfast very tasty and well presented. I would definitely stay there again. "

"I stayed here for 2 nights with my family and booked last minute. Location was great and it was a clean and comfortable stay. If you have any mobility issues however, I wouldn't recommend as we stayed at the top which had narrow steep stairs. Other odd quirks were there was not one bowl in the room or kitchen. Also we booked for 3 people and arrived to a room with a fold out and had to find the bedding. We found a fitted sheet available (but didn't fit the fold out couch properly) and a blanket...
