"We were a bit sceptical about the resort at first due to previous reviews. However it was a great 10 day stay for us. The food was lovely, couldn’t get enough of the prawns. The room with the sea view was amazing. The staff were great, thank you Maria you made our stay very comfortable. If you need some where close to the airport and 5min away from Stone town then I recommend Zanzibar beach resort. "

"What a wonderful stay - the room was comfortable and chic with strong AC, a comfort bed, and a nice bathroom. The rooftop bar and pool were lovely with amazing views of the ocean. Benjamin and the other staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The location was great - right in the heart of Stone Town. I highly recommend it! "

"This is good property but would need extra care to bring it go to place. Our rooms were not ready upon check in due to electrical problems. The appliances in the kitchen are faulty and electrocutes when plugged in. Raised the issues but not addressed. The tv remote did not have batteries on checking in and it took more than 24 hours to get it working. The manager tried to charge extra 2 dollars per night per guest that was no where stated during booking or listed in the receipt. The staff...

"Wow, wow wow!!!!!! Honestly, if I can give this place 10 out of 10 I would .This hotel was beyond my expectations. The staff went beyond and above the cleanliness of the room was top-notch. The food was to die for I am in Boston craving it currently. For anyone traveling to Zanzibar this is the place you have to go to. Beach is walking distance so it’s super convenient. Communication with manager was amazing even before I arrived fast and efficient. I would love to shout out The following...

"Horrible hotel, unprofessional, pathetic, poor, shameless. We had paid booking for 4 single rooms, when we arrived we were told the booking is confirmed and paid but there are no rooms available and forced us to another lower class class hotel. To our surprise, we were offered two rooms in that lower class hotel. Had to beg for 4 rooms for an hour to get. Will never visit this hotel again."
