"Birds farm is a lovely place to stay for the local Essex or Sussex area. Very quiet in the evenings, despite being just off a busy road. Great facilities, good comfy beds, very warm heating and well supplied cooking facilities. A pool for summer, grounds and a Summer house and a well stocked games room for kids if the weather is bad. "The staff were very helpful. The location was perfect. The room by the courtyard garden was quite cold for a stay in January, the bed had a thin fleece blanket over the duvet, but could do with something thicker for January. Breakfast had a brilliant selection, and the staff were very attentive."
