"We have stayed at this inn twice and enjoyed it both times. The service was friendly and helpful. They went out of there way to help with any problem. The housekeeping staff did not hurry us. We cannot speak to the restaurant as it was closed for vacations while we were there. The only issue that could have been better was no air conditioning. It would have been appreciated at both stays. "

"The room was great, just as described and the bed was pretty comfortable. There is a little noise from the train station which is very close, but its not too bad and didn't stop us sleeping. My major gripe is check-in. We arrived on a Sunday and hadn't been sent the codes. The building was unmanned, and it took more than 15minutes for the 24/7 helpline to answer. When they did they were able to send the codes pretty swiftly but didn't provide an explanation as to why we hadn't received an email....

"Older but well kept hotel. Small rooms but clean and comfortable. Walkable from train station but up a hill so took bus with luggage. "

"Only reason I didn’t rate 5 stars is that they had the elevator not working. I had a room in the 3rd floor so you can imagine carrying suitcases, strollers, etc. and no one to help. "

"Located right in the center of Gruyeres, nice area to walk around, parking available for a fee. Room size was ok, window overlooking the central square. Veranda Panoramic restaurant looks operated by same team and has an entrance inside the hotel . Dining experience there was a dissapointment. "

"Easy to get in using code for key box, convenient parking. Room was run down, headboard covering peeling off, only one pillow per person, only one toilet roll provided, electric sockets were coming away from the wall so weren’t usable. No housekeeping. Quite a loud area so could hear noisy people outside as needed the windows open due to the heat and no air con or fans provided (whereas a fan was provided in our precious hotel room a couple of hours away). "

"I cannot thank the staff of this hotel enough. The only criticism I could level is that the fan they put in my room I could have really used from the first day as opposed to the third, because it was really hot the week that I stayed. Apart from that I can't fault them."
