"All staff we met were helpful, pleasant and with a friendly (genuine) smile. You either select your staff well and/or they are led by a good manager. Stayed twice. Will definitely be back. Well done."

"We liked the quirkiness of the property. The staff were all welcoming and happy to assist. There was some dust in the room. The room felt a little too shabby chic. One of us didn’t enjoy their dinner, the vegetable lasagne was not very good! The breakfast however was excellent. "

"Lovely old inn loads of character. Rooms are basic but clean and the bathroom was epically large. Bar food good and a few different options. Couldn't be easier for the town centre and train and the staff were helpful and friendly "

"A quaint old Manor House. You would want to go here for the quietness and character. I would suggest a perfect wedding location - hiring the while property and its 14 bespoke rooms. We stayed in December purely to go to a local family event and was perfect for that but in summer would be lovely for a wedding with a marquee in the gardens to cater for a much larger guest list. "
