"Staff can communicate in basic english, my traditional room did not disappoint, clean and well done up morning buffet. Can walk to any restaurants, grocery stores and of course the chair lift. "

"The staff at this property are unbelievable. They go out of their way for you. The hotel has pretty much ski in, with access to the chair lift right outside the front door. Dinner is amazing, breakfast is not as good, but has plenty on offer with fruits, hot and cold options. The onsen downstairs was renovated whilst we were staying there and looks great, much more inviting. Access to the Hakuba Valley Shuttle just up the road, walkable. Although the idea of sleeping on a mattress on the floor and living out of suitcases was not appealing at first we got used to it, and ended up enjoying our stay thoroughly."

"Wonderful room, Japanese style but a notch above. They do have a shuttle service from train station. "

"Hallways smelt poorly, carpets are stained throughout the facility. We got the 4 person japanese room (only 2 in the room) and it was adeqaute for us. Outdoor tub included with room can only hold two people, food included with half board was buffet style and wasn't very good, however had a decent selection of western, japanese and chinese cuisines."
