"Electricity went off during the evening, staff member (lady) kept misleading guests telling us that maintenance was “on it “ and will restore power in just “a few minutes “ other staff said there was a bigger issue with the city, We could have understood the situation it she could just tell the truth but she became rude and unpleasant when people became anxious. The Power out lasted close to 2 hrs. No big deal except for the stuff member lying and misleading about the situation."

"Everything about the Tesoro was mediocre at best. Except for the staff! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Limited English but hey, we're in Mexico. Otherwise, the pool area was small and crowded, the food wasn't great and the rooms were very clean but not nicely appointed. The general impression was, the Tesoro had an idea what a resort needed but sort of phoned it in. Not quite up to par. Spend about $100 more per night and get a much better experience."
