"The staff was friendly but english language skills were so so. There was no ironing board; one of the faucets were leaking throughout our stay which kept the washroom floor wet. I requested the front desk to fix it and showed the video to them but it was not fixed during our stay. "Amazing view of the Pyramids of Giza. The night i arrived was a very clear night and my balcony had the best view. They assigned me a person driver to pick me up from the airport and a tour guide, I asked about food on the way from the airport to the hotel and they held the kitchen open for me to arrive. All staff were very kind and protective of me, as I traveled to Cairo alone. My driver escorted me on all my excursions, he protected me from scammers and so did my guide. I was very fortunate...

"I really enjoyed my stay, I was treated exceptional and having airport transportation both ways was a major plus as I arrived at 3AM and departed at 2AM and this was included in my hotel reservation at no additional cost. "this was a great option for our family of four. location really central, with easy metro, walking and driving options to everywhere. the room was spacious with good beds. only downside was the fact the shower leaked a bit (but that’s a minor thing). we liked the breakfasts - different each day, and no shortage of food. and the staff were incredibly friendly…no hesitation to help when asked. highly recommend to anyone looking for an affordable, quality downtown cairo hotel. "

"I would have given this a 5 star, but: 1) there was no VIP wellcome. 2) No basic cooking utensils. 3) Oven was not working. 4) Parking on site is expensive. The positives: 1) Huge and spacious suite. 2)Clean 3) Good location. I can recommend this to my family and friends. It is certainlyone of the best stays I had."

"Perfect location for a pyramids visit. Very Noisy area though as the roads are chaotic. The staff were all brilliant and went over and above to help us out when we had a family medical issue, even sending a member of staff with us to the hospital to translate. Rooms are small but convenient and clean, Rooftop Restaurant is nice and cheap with a good selection, and incredible views No other reason to stay in the area though unless you want to venture to the chaos of Giza itself."

"We had a great stay at Sama Hotel. The breakfasts were great, even though you have to eat in the room. The bedding, towels, etc are excellent. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We had an issue with our room being a smoking room the first night, but they corrected the issue and were apologetic. The area is fantastic and it's a very fun walk to Tahrir Square. Very central with a lot of activity around the hotel. The elevator and stairs up to the 6th floor are old, sketchy and not taken...

"Property was at great location, specially at sun set do not miss the roof top pyramid view. Fateh was great and he deserves a shout out for his great service and hospitality. If you are looking for something near pyramids then this is your hotel but if you are looking to stay longer then I wouldn’t as the property needs renovation. Thanks again for making our stay memorable."

"One of the best locations to stay in Cairo. Great Pyramid view from the room and the rooftop restaurant/Breakfast area. Safe, small refrigerator, tv in the rooms. Their breakfast is out of the world with both Western and authentic Egyptian food which they bring to the table while you sit and enjoy the gorgeous view from 7AM to 11AM. Plenty of taxis (Uber) available as soon as step out of the hotel. Many restaurants from local Egyptian food to KFC, Pizza Hut, and gift/souvenir shops, Shisha Bar also steps away and they are open till midnight. Entrance gate/Ticket counters to the Pyramids are right across the street...literally. Airport is approximately 45 minutes away and Uber will cost about 300Egyptian Pounds ($1 US Dollar=50.80 Egyptian Pound). City Center (Khan el-Khalili) will cost about 200 EP and 30 minutes during busy hours from the hotel. Hotel also offer airport pickup/drop off. I wouldn't want stay anywhere else except for this hotel when I visit Cairo again in the future and miss all the excitements here."
