"Clean and functional apartment-hotel with kitchen and balcony. Everything worked well, kitchen had all utensils and pans, the room was quiet, the balcony (and balcony windows) made it feel bright and spacious. Close to city center. Staff were friendly. There is an on-site laundry (although it is a bit expensive: 7 euros for a wash), reception area nothing special if you want to lounge in a hotel lobby, but these very minor drawbacks. Overall very good and convenient, I would stay again. "

"The staff at the hotel were lovely, very helpful and friendly, it is very easy to find at the service station and there is a cafeteria there where you can eat, the swimming pool is also a nice plus, however, the rooms were very basic and looking a little worse for wear."

"We arrived on Ascencion day from the little yellow train to no bus or taxi from Villefranc to the hotel - locals gathered together at the station to take us to the hotel in a private car - refused to accept any payment. Next day we needed to do washing, again let down by taxi's to get to laundry (at the local supermarket and a local again gave us a lift but let down again by taxi's to return (not far enough). The dryer did not work so back to hotel with damp washing. Immediately hotel stepped...

On se sent tout de suite à l’aise dans ce village vacances. L’appartement était très bien, spacieux et avec tout le nécessaire. Nous avons passé beaucoup de temps à la piscine, parfaite pour se détendre. L’environnement est très apaisant, avec la vue sur l’étang. "The location is in a small village in the mountains and driving in and out is not easy. The property itself is a bit dated but is very charming. The staff and service were excellent. Note that the price does not include breakfast. We stayed on the third floor and internet was unavailable le in the room - we had to go down to the lobby for internet connection. Breakfast and the restaurant were great."

"Good location. Nice rooms but looking a bit run down. Bucket under sink to collect drips in one of our two rooms - this was not fixed during our two day stay as promised. However the place does have charm. Breakfast was added to our bill although we did not take it. I had to ask to have it removed."

Staff described as English speaking didn't understand much and didn't offer much in the way of helpful tourist info. Main pool excellent however chairs in pool area only appeared on the last day. Would go back though."
