"Wonderful stay at The Royal Victoria Hotel. Excellent location in Llanberis to take advantage of the walking trails available in the area. Our room was extremely comfortable. The staff were attentive and helpful. The breakfasts plentiful and nourishing. And the dinners, which we took in the bar area, were delicious. Would highly recommend for visitors to the area. "

"We enjoyed our 1 night stay at Tyn-y-Coed - the location is excellent for walking from the doorstep and the parking is great. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and had good storage. The addition of a drying line in the bathroom is a super idea. We loved the styling of decor in reception and the bar/restaurant and enjoyed the Snowdon Lager on draught. We look forward to visiting again. "

The food was well cooked and presented with a decent portion for a change. "I arrived early but was able to access my room straight away. I was initially told that my room still had to be paid for but I had prepaid. This was resolved quickly however. The hotel is conveniently located on a regular bus route and I took the opportunity to visit Blaenau Ffestiniog 20 minutes away. The evening meal was excellent with plenty of choice on the menu. My room was fine and extremely comfortable. Some slight traffic noise as it was at the front of the property."
