"The location is great, right off Shinkansen train station. The hotel has a western deco, looks like new. Our triple room was great and staff was courteous. We walked to castle with no problem. There is shopping area near by. Plenty of food options. The city was nicely lit during holiday, we liked it quite a bit. "

Bathroom was a bit inconvenient: no hook to hang a bath towel on the wall or door, the shower door should have a towel hanger for a bath mat, etc. However, a separate tub and shower was a big bonus for me! Breakfast was disappointing. I thought the food quality and selection were pretty poor. I would book a room without it next time, and just get a coffee and some bread/pastry at a cafe downstairs."
